Frequently Asked Questions
Do you host small groups?
Yes, we do! Contact us for details about how we can accommodate your small group.
What is your maximum capacity?
About 425!
Do you have children's rates?
Yes! Contact us for pricing details.
Can we have access to the kitchen to cook our own meals?
No, guest access is not permitted and we do not permit BBq’s outdoor grills or hot plates outdoors or within rooms.
Are our meeting rooms shared?
No, your meeting room is for your group’s use only for the duration of your stay!
Do you provide child care?
No we do not, but we do have an awesome Nursery and Tot area that guests are able to use for the children ages 0-4yrs of age! You just have to provide the people to watch your kiddos.
Are you open all year?
Yes! We accept reservations and hold retreats the entire year long.
Are the showers and bathrooms within the lodging?
Yes, all cabins and lodge rooms have a private bathroom and shower.
What is your cancellation policy?
We take our contract very seriously, but in the event of a retreat cancellation, we will do our best to attempt to resell the space that you are contracted for. If we are successful then we can release you of your contracted financial obligation, but the deposit is lost.
Will there be multiple groups on site?
It is likely as we have many meeting rooms and are large enough to host multiple groups. Meeting rooms and housing are dedicated to the contracted group but common areas such as Dining Hall, playgrounds and fields are shared space.
Do you have enough parking?
Depending on the size of our weekends parking may be limited and we encourage people to carpool.
Can charter buses come to the facility?
Yes! Many of our youth groups hire charter buses that drop off large groups.
Do you have tent sites?
We no longer have our tent city and all lodging is indoors within our hotel lodges or cabins.
Do you have wildlife and bugs?
We are lucky to be located in a redwood forest where many creatures such as deer, racoons, owls and other creatures may be seen or heard during your stay. With that we also have the possibility of bugs such as mosquitoes and bees. During spring and summer months we recommend that you bring bug spray and keep your doors and windows to your accommodations closed.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes. We are located within a residential area within Santa Cruz County where we must follow the county ordinance which states no aggressive, loud or amplified sounds between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
Do you have cell service in your area?
Yes, we do have cell service. The best service seems to be with Verizon, and AT&T (although some areas can have no signal) other providers such as T-mobile, Sprint and Boost may not have coverage in all areas.
