“[Women’s Retreat] is a spot where you can find connection with other women, you can laugh, you can get deep, you can talk about the things that really matter in life.”

 — Melissa Monday

Life can get busy and overwhelming. Between work, family responsibilities, and the constant demands of everyday life, it can feel difficult to slow down and focus on what matters most.

That’s why the Spring Women’s Retreat at Redwood Christian Park (RCP) is such a meaningful experience for so many women. It’s a chance to step away from the noise of daily life and spend intentional time reconnecting with God and with other women walking through similar seasons.

A Place to Step Away From the Busyness of Life

The Women’s Spring Retreat is designed to give women space to pause. For one weekend, the usual responsibilities—sports events, cooking dinner, and running from one commitment to the next—can be set aside.

Instead, the focus becomes something deeper: faith, reflection, and meaningful connection.

It’s a place where conversations matter, friendships grow, and women encourage one another in their faith journeys.

Melissa’s Story

Melissa Monday has been coming to the camp since the summer before her fourth-grade year and now brings her own family. Over the years, she has attended four women’s retreats and says each one has been meaningful in a different way.

“Coming to women’s retreat helps me reconnect with who I am…We are here as women trying to figure out what it is God wants to speak to [us] about this weekend.”
— Melsisa Monday

For Melissa, the retreat provides a chance to reset spiritually and personally, something many women deeply need in the middle of busy seasons of life.

A Weekend Where God Meets You Where You Are

One of the most powerful parts of retreat is that every woman experiences it differently. Each person arrives carrying different struggles, questions, or hopes, and God meets them right where they are.

Many women leave the weekend feeling refreshed, encouraged, and equipped with something meaningful to carry back into their everyday lives.

This year’s theme is Amazing Grace, and women will explore the powerful truth that our value does not come from what we do or how much we accomplish. Instead, the life-changing reality of the Gospel is that our worth comes from what Jesus has already done for us on the cross. Through His grace, we are given not only value, but new life.

With messages from Sara Bentley and worship led by Linzy Westman, this retreat will be a meaningful time of reflection, worship, and connection.

As Melissa explains, each retreat offers something unique for every woman who attends.

Take the Step and Say Yes

If you’ve been wondering whether or not you should sign up, consider taking a step of faith.

Retreat might be exactly the space you need to slow down, reconnect with God, and build meaningful relationships with other women.

“I would love to see you there, to get to know you, hear your story and spend time connecting.”
